About Me
I created and currently have five apps on the Apple App Store, two apps on Mac OSX, and two android apps on Google, and web based projects. I am proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Objective-C, Swift, Python, Java, and C#. Over the summer of 2019 I created a jailbreak tool for IOS11 – 12.4 in Objective-C and C# for the MAC OS X. I have been appointed the sole TA in the CS department in my school and successfully took Computer Science AP in high school freshman year. I will be a rising High School Junior in the summer of 2020.
I have been coding ever since I was 11. I am self taught primarily through YouTube and Codecademy and participation in hackathons held at Manhattan schools. Starting with HTML, I moved on to CSS, Javascript, Python, and Objective-C. Since 8th grade, I have been attending Nano Hacker Academy, a non-profit mentoring program in which students meet with their mentors once a week for ten weeks in a year to pursue their programming interests independently.
In addition to computer science, my interests include student council, dance, cross-country, and golf. I am also deeply fascinated by mathematics and finance. Financial markets play a materially greater role in the organization of modern society and incentives, motivation and collaboration in today’s world. Observing my dad who has been a trader, trading manager, and overseer of a trading business for almost twenty-five years and has bachelors and masters degrees from MIT, I have become very interested in economics and finance and hope to combine my programming skills with trading in markets.
